Creating the writing habit

I wrote a couple of months ago about what to do with the time I’ve created by cutting things out of my life and this only being worth doing if I use the time to indulge passions and creativity. Likewise one of my life principles is creative recreation and I always feel like I want to write something. But there is then usually a disconnect. I have good intentions but I don’t actually write anything.

So this is just a rambling as part of initiating/maintaining the writing habit. If I actually want to write, then funnily enough I need to write. I need to hone my skills, learn by doing, work out what works and what doesn’t. Get into the habit of creating ideas and writing consistently. Writing is also an excellent form of meditation, calming the mind and enabling me to get into ‘flow’.
